Red Cherry Shrimp Behavior

Red cherry shrimp is shrimp are not aggressive by nature. They are active throughout the day and can be seen grazing on algae aquarium décor or sides of the tank, hunting detritus among the gravel, and even mating. Periodically shrimp will make its exoskeleton, leaving an empty white ghost of itself caught up in plants or float in the tank. It should be left in the tank like eating shrimp to recover valuable minerals in it.

Pregnant cherry shrimps tend to hide in the dark. If they feel threatened by a predator, they will abandon their eggs. They need the environment with wood or plants such as Java Moss to hide themselves and their children go when they carry eggs in their body, they can be witnessed circulating water over the eggs their pleopods (swimming legs) to ensure a healthy life
